Snow, Dopplemayer in Bishkek National Park
1st Day Silk route Bishkek
The guide Adyl drives us to the national park just outside the city. There is a lot snow, and as soon as we walk in the park I like to be in the snow. We don’t have a lot of quietness. The first thing we see is a Dopplemayer car (The famous brand who makes all the skilifts). It is amazing to see the start of building a luxurious skiing village. There are already some coffee houses and we see a tent where the workers have there lunch. A lady comes to the tent to cook some lunch for the workers.
We have lunch in a typical fish restaurant. We thought it was a small bungalow park, but people eat fish in the little ‘private’ houses. The fish is being caught at the spot in the river that flows there. We have a very tasteful 1,5 kilo fish. We can’t finish, it was so good so I take it with me in a plastic bag.

We saw mountains and a big bazar. No changing of the guards In Bishkek town we visit the museum and like yesterday, we again miss the changing of the guards on the big square, who stand next to the flag. This takes place every hour. So you can imagine we are very busy.

2nd day with Tour guide
The 2nd day we drive to Naryn,, a little village we stay at before going to the Chinese border. We need to go for 400 km.
We even stay outside the village, so when we like to walk around to see the village, there is not much to see. We take a taxi to the village in ten minutes, which is around 1 euro. Not much to see either but we have a lot of fun with the guide while my father was waiting in the guest house, for the beer that we would buy. We see a lot of graveyards, sometimes it is literally a big cage, on the floor, but below it is a stone or clay house.
