This calls for a small feast. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the morning, I start preparing everything. It takes some time, but it&#8217;s easy to decide what to make. I have tomatoes, aubergines, and courgettes from our garden, so I decide to combine Greece and Italy in two dishes: a marvelous Moussaka and a Lasagna with courgette. Luckily Dewi is here to help me out in the kitchen, but first she is going to harvest the aubergine. When Ilse comes back and looks at the kitchen and my cooking she says: <br>\u201cIf this Moussaka is your signature dish, you\u2019d better choose one that takes less time.\u201d <br>A signature dish&#8230;? We don&#8217;t have just one dish, we have many national dishes that we make. We&#8217;ve traveled, tasted, and perfected them in our kitchen to suit our taste. I don\u2019t think we\u2019ll cut back on time. As Cinta would say: <br>&#8220;You are lucky guests!&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Moussaka Recipe<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>After dinner, Ilse dares to ask for my Moussaka recipe. <br>&#8220;Are you sure?&#8221; I said. <br>&#8220;It is a lot of work&#8221;, and that is an understatement.<br>She is the first to receive one of my recipe cards!
