The lovely mild climate makes it-even in the dark months-a very pleasant place to spend long periods of time outdoors and enjoy nature. The hills are lovely and calm the mind. The fossils that you keep finding connect the present with the past so that the excessive tranquillity of the surroundings does not feel like detachment, which I actually came for, but rather like deepening and connecting with earth, people, nature and history. Casa da lima is a beautiful place in the middle of fields and hills. Home-grown fruit and vegetables on the table, retreats, hikes. The hosts are welcoming and very friendly, with a wealth of skills and experience!”
