Casa da Lima<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Casa da Lima is the name we chose for our house and company. All activities we do or will do, such as cooking classes, healthy workshops, guideing (silent) walks<\/a>, and mindful walks and retreat will be hosted by Casa da Lima.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our property consists of two houses. Casa da Lima, the house where we live in and a stone house next to the main house: Casinha da Lima, <\/em>which means \u2018little lime house\u2019. This one is available for tourists or pilgrims or small groups. It is alongside the caminho to Santiago de Compostela and Fatima and close to PR and GR routes<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Casa da Lima welcomes guests for one or more nights. We will spoil you with delicious food. Love the peace and quietness and the marvelous views, then this place is just for you. Just remember that there is space for four people, so don’t hesitate to reserve in time. Since we also are listed on booking websites, our availability could change in a few moments.

Casinha da Lima<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What we offer is a nice little house<\/a> with four great places to rest and sleep well, with a private bathroom and separate toilet. We also prepare meals and simple breakfast on request.
There is space to relax on the patio, <\/a>with shaded areas below the old grapevine. With the typical Calcada Portuguese,<\/em> the hand made stone pavement, you can really enjoy the Portuguese environment with the antique mill, and the famous Germanelo and Jerumelo mountain in background. We also have a nice front garden next to our two lime and apple trees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Early arrivals are welcome to sit and rest on our patio. We usually eat around 18:30. Just reach out and talk to us!<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Fruit garden<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

We have two lime trees in our front garden and we planted a lot of fruit trees in our fruit garden. Please feel free to pick and eat our organic fruits from our fruit garden, just 300 meters away from our house (behind the Portuguese white windmill). We also have different kinds of apples, pears, peaches, persimmon, loquats, grapes etc. Depending on the season you can prepare yourselves a fresh fruit juice drink.
We make homemade jams and marmalade. We also have our homemade tomato ketchup, and lime mayonnaise, the taste is unbelievably pure. You may be lucky to buy some for the rest of your journey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Retreat in the middle of nowhere<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

We are located in the middle of nowhere. Please do let us know if you have any requests and we will try our best to arrange it for you.
We take care of the pilgrims ‘inner person’.

For people who like to retreat to nature:<\/a> You are welcome to stay for a healthy retreat<\/a> with your group of maximum four people. Walking, running, healthy food, practicing mindfulness, all is possible at Casa da Lima’s small scale casinha with stunning views on mountains and quiet dirt roads.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We offer tourists guided walks<\/a>. Immerse yourself in nature. The routes take you through the most scenic landscapes, from valleys to picturesque hillsides. Whether you prefer easy, flat walks or more challenging trails, we have a route suiting your needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Taste local delicacies. Along the way, you’ll have the chance to savor authentic Portuguese cuisine. Enjoy local products and discover the traditional flavors that make our region so special.
Have a look to our amazing Terra de Sico and our walks<\/a> made to suit your needs during your stay.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
