Nestled in a peaceful remote location, Casinha da Lima offers a unique, and perfect escape. Located on the path to Santiago de Compostela and Fatima we offer four great sleeping places. The mattresses are comfortable. The house is cool in summer and there is heating in winter. We also have extra blankets and pillows. You can really sit and read on your bunkbed without bumping your head on the upper bed. After an exhausting day, rest assured that you will enjoy a comfortable and peaceful night’s sleep.
We have a patio with a table and chairs where you can rest. You can buy things at the mini-mercado in Alvorge or Rabacal but we will take care of your inner ‘person’.
Depending on the season you can pick and eat from our fruit garden. You will definetely enjoy your stay here. We also have a stamp for your credentials!

Famous Hand Painted Porcelain
Because you probably can’t find the special workshops and haven’t find the opportunity yet, or you have been too tired to shop around in Coimbra, we offer the world famous Portuguese hand-painted porcelain. Small souvenirs unique to this region (Coimbra Central Portugal). They easily fit in your backpack. The workshop of mother and daughter in Redinha, painted the blue tiled azulejo on our wall too.
